A 14-day private journey through Uganda's headline parks and primate forests. Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are included in the source itinerary and become non-refundable and non-changeable after confirmation; passport details must be exact before permits are issued.
Transfer to the hotel in Entebbe. Morning arrivals may add the Botanical Gardens and Uganda Wildlife Education Centre at extra cost.
Drive to Ziwa, arrive for lunch, then track wild rhinos with a ranger for approximately two hours. Overnight at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Camp.
Morning rhino and bird watching followed by breakfast. Continue to Murchison Falls with lunch en route and take a late-afternoon game drive.
Early game drive and picnic lunch near the ferry, followed by an afternoon boat journey to the base of Murchison Falls.
A scenic transfer to Kibale Forest with lunch en route, arriving at the lodge during the afternoon.
Trek in search of chimpanzees and other primates. After lunch, take a guided Bigodi Wetland walk for turacos, colobus, mangabeys and other wildlife.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a short game drive en route. After lunch, choose an afternoon game drive or local market visit.
Morning game drive, picnic lunch near the channel, then an afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel.
Drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park into the Ishasha sector for an afternoon game drive and overnight stay.
Leave early for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with a picnic lunch en route and a visit to Maramagambo Forest. Overnight in the Ruhija sector.
After an early breakfast, set out with the ranger team to track a habituated gorilla family. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon.
Depart for Lake Mburo and game drive through the park on the way to camp.
Take a morning walking safari in the park and an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo.
Return to Entebbe in time for the evening flight.
