About Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater is a large volcanic caldera located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania. It is often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World” due to its unique and breathtaking natural beauty. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to diverse wildlife, including the “Big Five” (elephant, lion, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo), as well as thousands of other species.
