These are the only Botanical gardens in the country and boost a prolific birdlife, three primate species and other smaller mammals. The gardens are a heaven for botany enthusiasm and should introduce to African primates and other wildlife during this tour. Start the day with an early morning Game Drive on the B.O. Albert or Queens tracks north of river Nile. View a variety of wild game like Rothschild’s Giraffe, a number of Antelope species, African Lion, (Miran Elephant variety of savannah grassland birds, just to mention but a few. After breakfast, report to Kanyandu Tourist centre where tourist gravities begin. You will be briefed by a ranger guide then set out to track man’s closest relatives. The Chimpanzee in the forest The Kibale Forest National Park is a home of the endangered Chimpanzee and boosts of having the highest concentrations of primates in East Africa and probably Africa since the potential competitor- the Congo forest has been poorly researched. Other primate Species include the globally threatened Red Colobus Monkey, Black and White Colobus, Blue monkey Bush Babies, the Nocturnal Potto and Galagos name it. After lunch the tour continues to Bigodi wetland, here is a community based activity that was set up to enable tourists give back to the community and yet enjoy the nature offered by the swamp like mary colorful butterflies, birds and other plant species. The day begins early as we head for the mating ground (leki) of the Uganda kolas, search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other big and small game in their natural habitats. We have breakfast and with packed lunch, we go for another game drive for more game possibly missed on the previous game drives. From the game drive, we transfer to the prune home of the endangered Mountain Gorillas- Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
At 08.00hour you will he guided to the ranger station for registration and a briefing by the ranger guide. Then you will be taken into We sanctuary to enjoy the beauty and freshness of the forestry the home to over a half of the world mountain gorillas for your meld rig experlen. The tour continues through Idgezi terraces, look at the magnificent looking scenery in Bunyonyi and in good time for lunch. You can spend the evening in rest or have a boat ride or a Nature walk or any activity of your choice. This is an optional activity therefore not covered for Stay at Lodge (Full Board)
Today, you will do leisurely activities among which shall include: Bird Watching, a village walk to the Itiacwa and Bakiga communities. All cost part of the safari cost.
After breakfast we drive to Lake Mburo National Park with a lunch stop in Mbarara town. Overnight at Rwakoho Rock or Eagle Nest Camp (Full Board).
